Halloween Haunted Halls of Oly NHS Event

• Dues $20  and T shirt money $11 due Oct. 1

• Hours log--due Dec. 1/April 1--handed out at Oct. 1 meeting

• Halloween Haunted Halls--sign ups were at Oct. 1 meeting--see Mrs. Hapgood if you did not sign up.

• Halloween Haunted Halls is Required Event--Saturday, Oct. 31, 10am-3:30pm

  (the event runs 1 pm-3pm--we will clean up afterwards quickly).

• Everyone needs a costume and to bring some Halloween decorations.  The decorations do  not need to be new or specially purchased; they will be returned.

• Pumpkin donations/carving in advisory during week of Oct. 26--bring pumpkins to room B5

• Homecoming booth on Oct. 8--need water and soda donations--bring to room B5

Halloween Meeting Monday Sept 28

The Halloween event on Oct. 31 has been approved.  The Halloween committe will meet during adviosry on Monday, Sept. 28 in B5.

The next NHS meeting is Oct 1

If you have not yet signed up for volunteer hours and NHS committees, see Mrs. Steve in the Counseling Office.

The next NHS meeting is on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 7:50 am in room B5.

At the meeting, plans will be made for the Homecoming carnival and the Halloween event.

The $20 dues is due Oct. 1.

T-shirt money. $11, is due Oct. 1.

Meeting Dates, T-shirts and Dues

The NHS Officers have decided that future NHS meetings will be on every other Thursday at 7:50 am in B5.  This avoids late start conflicts.


The next meeting is Thursday, Sept 17 at 7:50 am.


A new NHS t-shirt design has been selected and will be shared at the meeting.  The shirt is optional, but encouraged for new NHS members.  Shirts will be $11 and money will be due by Oct. 1, the following NHS meeting.  Cash or checks may be given to treasurer, Ellie Martin, Mrs. Hapgood or Mrs. Steve.

INDIVIDUAL SERVICE HOURS LOG

NHS members are required to complete 20 service hours per academic school year—10 hours completed through NHS specific projects and 10 hours from service hours of member’s choice.  Projects should be chosen to enhance the talents and meet the needs of the school and the community.
